CoffyAbout
What is Coffy?
Coffy is a mobile app for Turkish coffee cup reading, tarot, birth charts, a personal daily sky reading, dream interpretation and numerology. It brings the Turkish coffee reading tradition together with computed astrology data and careful AI interpretation. It is available in Turkish and English.
Who builds it?
Coffy is built by Anil A., an independent developer based in Türkiye, who handles product design, the mobile app (Flutter), the backend (.NET) and the AI integration.
Where we are today
- The app is in development; Android closed testing starts soon, with iOS to follow.
- Servers run in Germany (netcup); the domain and file storage are on Cloudflare.
- The app is free; readings use credits, and free credits can be earned by watching rewarded ads.
How we use AI
Readings are generated with AI. In our approach:
- A coffee cup photo is inspected first; if there are no readable grounds, no reading is generated and the credit is refunded.
- Planet positions, houses, aspects and sky events are computed by our own astronomy engine and tested against NASA JPL Horizons and Swiss Ephemeris references; the AI only interprets this data.
- Every astrology reading includes a “Why this reading?” section showing its basis.
- Ethics rules are fixed: no definite predictions about health, death, infidelity, law or money, and no diagnosis or investment advice.
